Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled

Battery Engineer

specializing in

manufacturing and production

to join our growing team. You will be responsible for overseeing battery assembly processes, developing manufacturing protocols, ensuring quality control, and driving continuous improvement in battery production.

Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and optimize battery manufacturing processes. Lead cell assembly, battery pack integration, and testing. Develop and maintain manufacturing work instructions, SOPs, and quality standards. Work closely with R&D, procurement, and production teams to ensure smooth scale-up from prototypes to mass production. Select and qualify materials, components, and equipment for battery manufacturing. Analyze production data, identify trends, and drive improvements in efficiency, yield, and product quality. Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and provide technical solutions quickly. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. Support supplier evaluation and quality audits related to battery components.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or related field. hands-on experience in battery manufacturing will be a plus. (cells, modules, or packs). Deep understanding of battery chemistries (Li-ion, LiFePO4, etc.) and production techniques. Strong background in quality control and root cause analysis. Familiarity with manufacturing equipment, testing standards, and automation systems. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and project management abilities. Experience in high-volume production environments is a plus.
