BASIC SKILLS TRAINING (BST) INSTRUCTOR - ELECTRONICS & ELECTRICITY Grade: 6 Location: Dhahran, Saudi Arabia

JOB PURPOSE BAE Systems is the UK Government's nominated Prime Contractor under the Government-to-Government arrangements that are in place to provide equipment, support and training to Saudi Arabia. We provide maintenance of Royal Naval Forces ships and train RSNF personnel safely in a training environment in how to use their ships and equipment. The post holder will be responsible for delivering Basic Skills Training (BST) in the Electronics & Electricity field at the Technical Institute for Naval Studies (TINS). In particular, BST Instructors are expected to teach the core skills, knowledge and attitude of relevant elements of the City & Guilds 2850-84 Level 2 qualifications.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES The post holder is responsible for: Delivering NTT Basic Skills Training curriculum. Supporting invigilation activities for assessments. Supporting remedial training activities. Writing assessment materials. Supporting the continuous improvement of courseware materials and media. Writing cadet reports as required to meet customer requirements. The post holder will be expected to operate to a standard of absolute integrity and professionalism. The post holder will ensure the completion of any other reasonable request by their line manager, which aligns with Company business.

RECRUITMENT SPECIFICATION Essential The post holder must: Have a minimum of IELTS 5.0 for non-native English language speakers. Hold a City & Guilds 2850-84 qualification. Be a graduate of an advanced military trade school or an industry equivalent. Have proven practical experience in one of the below: Electricity Technician (Navigation) Electricity Technician (Radar) Fire Control Technician Sonar Technician Electricians Mate Electronic Warfare Gunners Mate Information System Technician

Desirable The post holder should: Have recent instructional experience. Have successfully completed an approved / accredited Instructional Techniques course.
