The Bartender/Mixologist is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages, non-alcoholic, while ensuring an exceptional guest experience. This role requires creativity, product knowledge, and excellent customer service to enhance the bar's reputation and maintain a lively, welcoming atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve a wide variety of beverages, including classic cocktails, signature drinks, mocktails, and specialty creations.
Provide professional, courteous, and engaging service to all guests.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including tools, glassware, and equipment.
Ensure proper stocking levels of beverages, garnishes, and bar supplies.
Create and recommend new cocktail recipes and seasonal drink menus.
Adhere to company standards regarding drink preparation, portion control, and presentation.
Handle cash, credit card transactions, and maintain accurate sales records.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Check guest identification to verify legal drinking age and follow responsible alcohol service guidelines.
Work closely with bar and service staff to ensure smooth operations and timely service.
Maintain knowledge of current drink trends, products, and mixology techniques.
Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently.
Qualifications & Skills:
Proven experience as a Bartender or Mixologist in a high-volume or fine-dining environment.
Strong knowledge of mixology, spirits, wines, beers, and cocktail preparation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Positive attitude and strong customer service orientation.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Knowledge of POS systems and basic cash handling procedures.
Certification in Responsible Service of Alcohol (preferred).
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent (Hospitality certification or Bartending course preferred).
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
