With stunning resorts located across the globe and exciting expansion planned, Kerzner International currently has a fantastic opportunity for a Bartender to join the Food & Beverage team at One&Only The Palm Resort in Dubai.
As a Bartender, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences. You will prepare and serve beverages to the highest standards, maintain a welcoming atmosphere at the bar, and ensure smooth and efficient daily operations. Your responsibilities include managing bar inventory, upholding cleanliness, engaging with guests, and supporting the team during service and special events all while reflecting our company's core values.
Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve cocktails, mocktails, wines, spirits, and specialty beverages according to standard recipes and guest preferences.
• Maintain high standards of presentation for all drinks served.
• Upsell premium brands and signature cocktails to enhance guest experience and revenue.
• Provide recommendations based on guest preferences and menu knowledge
• Welcome guests warmly and maintain a friendly, approachable demeanor.
• Engage positively with guests while managing busy service periods.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to ensure a memorable experience.
• Handle guest concerns or complaints professionally and escalate when necessary.
• Ensure bar setup is complete and stocked before service (garnishes, glassware, mixers, spirits, linens).
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar counters, shelves, and equipment always.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the Bar Manager to replenish supplies.
• Handle closing duties, including cleaning, restocking, and inventory checks.
• Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations.
• Comply with local alcohol laws and responsible service of alcohol guidelines.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of bar equipment.
• Maintain accurate cash handling and follow POS procedures.
• Work closely with servers, hosts, and kitchen staff to support smooth restaurant operations.
• Participate in pre-shift briefings and training sessions.
• Support special events, promotions, theme nights, and resort activities.
• Assist colleagues during peak business periods when necessary.

A suitable candidate should have 1-2 years of bartending experience in an upscale 5-star hotel or resort environment. Strong knowledge of beverage preparation, mixology techniques, and bar service standards is essential. The candidate should possess excellent personal presentation, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to engage confidently with a diverse and high-profile clientele. They must be a dynamic team player, committed to delivering exceptional guest service and maintaining a vibrant, welcoming bar atmosphere. Excellent communication skills in English are required, and proficiency in an additional language will be considered an advantage.
