Job Description
Position BARTENDER FEMALE Provide a friendly, timely, attentive service to create an exceptional experience for all guests. Interact positively with guests while accurately mixing and serving beverages. Be attentive to guests needs and make them feel welcome, comfortable, important and relaxed.
- The weekly days off permitted will be 2 days off per week; the maximum allowance should not be more than two consecutive off days/two non-consecutive off days in one workweek from Sunday to Saturday. Off-days shall be scheduled by management and recorded in the weekly roster.
- Be passionate about customer service with the capability of delivering amazing hospitality to our guests.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks consistently with the restaurant standard drink recipe.
- Deliver excellent customer service by engaging with customers in a professional and polite way.
- Have a solid understanding of Italian beverages and be able to provide consumer recommendations.
- Experiment with different ingredients to make unique and innovative drinks that complement the theme and ambiance of the restaurant.
- Keep the bar area clean and orderly, and make sure all equipment and supplies are well-stocked and in good operating order.
- Multitask successfully, handle many drink orders at the same time and operate well under pressure.
- Follow all alcohol serving guidelines and ensure responsible alcohol service.
- Prepare garnishes for drinks with creativity and style.
- Assess guest needs and preferences and make recommendations.
- Maintain bottles and glasses in an attractive and functional manner to support efficient drink preparation and promotional suggestion.
- Present drinks menu, make specific recommendation and answer question about beverage.
- Plan and present bar menu.
- Responsible for restocking and replenishment of bar inventory and supplies
- Clear and reset tables in the bar
- Arrange bottles and glasses to make an attractive display.
- Record drinks order accurately.
- Checking customer identification to confirm that the customer is of drinking age.
- Attempt to limit problems and liability related to customer excessive drinking. Taking steps such as to persuade customers to stop drinking. If required, arranging taxi or other means of transportation for intoxicated guests.
- Mix ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, sugar and bitters in order to prepare cocktails and other drinks.
- Serve snacks or food items to customers seated at the bar.
- Suggest drink recipes
- Maintain a friendly atmosphere and deal efficiently with any problems that may arise.
- Assist the lounge area, if needed, during busy operation.
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations.
- Wear proper apparel in accordance with the restaurant's dress policy and present a professional look.
- Certificate related in bartending
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience as Bartender
- Must have a very good knowledge of liqueurs, spirits and wines
- Proven experience as a bartender in a high-volume or fine-dining establishment.
- Good customer service and attention to detail.
- Strong beverage service knowledge, especially Italian wines, aperitifs, and cocktails.
- Crafting fresh and visually attractive cocktails requires creativity and invention.
- Multitasking abilities and the ability to perform efficiently under pressure are required.
- Ability to follow all alcohol serving requirements and ensure responsible alcohol service.
- Professional demeanor and look.
- Be able to speak, read and write English. Additional languages will be an advantage.
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
