- Bartender

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of bar operations, alcoholic beverages, mixology, customer service, and hygiene standards. The Bartender will be responsible for delivering high-quality drinks, maintaining the bar area, and ensuring an excellent guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

Bar Operations

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes. Maintain full knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, beers, and mixers. Handle bar equipment efficiently (shakers, measures, blenders, etc.). Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies. Ensure accurate pouring and portion control.
Customer Service

Greet customers warmly and provide drink recommendations based on preferences. Take and process drink orders accurately and promptly. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through professional service. Handle customer concerns politely and escalate when necessary.
Alcohol Knowledge & Compliance

Understand the characteristics of various alcohol types (vodka, rum, gin, whisky, beer, wine). Stay updated on classic and contemporary cocktails. Follow all legal and company regulations regarding alcohol service. Ensure no service to underage or intoxicated guests.
Cleanliness & Hygiene

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar counter, seating area, and storage. Wash glassware, bar tools, and equipment regularly. Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
Cash Handling & Reporting

Manage billing, POS entries, and payments accurately. Balance cash register at the end of the shift. Report shortages, breakages, or discrepancies to management.
Teamwork & Collaboration

Coordinate with waitstaff, kitchen team, and management. Assist during busy hours to ensure smooth operations. Participate in training sessions, menu planning, and promotional events.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Previous experience as a Bartender or Bar Assistant is preferred. Strong knowledge of alcoholic beverages, cocktails, and mixology. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Good physical stamina and ability to work evening/night shifts. Basic math and cash-handling skills. Professional appearance and hygiene.

Preferred Qualifications

Certification in bartending or mixology (optional but preferred). Experience working in high-volume or premium bar environments. Knowledge of bar safety protocols and alcohol laws.
