Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Responsibilities include preparing and serving beverages, maintaining a clean bar area, and ensuring an outstanding guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
- Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including stocking supplies and garnishes.
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age and prevent over-serving.
- Process payments using POS systems and handle cash responsibly.
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies, including proper food and alcohol handling.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
- Stay updated on new drink trends and cocktail techniques.
- Previous experience as a bartender, barback, or server preferred.
- Knowledge of cocktail recipes, beer, wine, and spirits.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling.
- TIPS or ServSafe Alcohol Certification (a plus but not required).
- Must meet local age requirements for serving alcohol.
