- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Mix ingredients to create classic and innovative cocktails according to recipes
- Take food and drink orders from customers and enter them into the POS system
- Assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Check customers' identification to ensure they meet age requirements for purchase of alcohol
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Process payments and operate cash registers
- Monitor customers' alcohol consumption and take appropriate action to limit intake if necessary
- Assist in creating drink menus and seasonal specials
- Maintain knowledge of current beverage trends and mixology techniques
- Resolve customer complaints and ensure customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and servers to ensure efficient service
- Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
- Must have knowledge in alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Worked at least 2 years in hotel industry
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in hospitality or related field preferred
- Proven experience as a bartender in a high-volume establishment
- Excellent knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktail recipes
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
- Knowledge of POS systems and cash registers
- Excellent verbal communication skills in English; additional language skills a plus
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required
- Team player with a positive attitude and professional appearance
