With stunning resorts located across the globe and exciting expansion planned, Kerzner International currently has a fantastic opportunity for a Bartender to join the Food & Beverage team at The One&Only The Palm Hotel in Dubai.

With the global growth of our brands, you will be an integral part of the Resort\'s success and your role goes beyond developing potential relationships with our guests and colleagues. Where you will be responsible in serving and preparing drinks as per standard or recipe, clears tables and bars and assists guest. Ensures highest guest satisfaction.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
\xef\x82\xa7 Follows standards and procedures within the operation.
\xef\x82\xa7 Assists supervisor/team leader in best practice and continuously seeks to improve existing standards and procedures and communicates the same to highest level.
\xef\x82\xa7 Ensures financial performance of operation by diligently controlling all finance accounts related documents, verifies correctness of invoices and guest checks.
\xef\x82\xa7 Handles operating equipment and furniture with care.
\xef\x82\xa7 Responds to guest needs in appropriate manner and time or as per standard.
\xef\x82\xa7 Maintains assigned tables, clears and removes plates as per needs, serves drinks and food as per standard.
\xef\x82\xa7 Sets tables as per standard, tops up mise en place on side stations, keeps all collateral clean and tidy, ensures that sufficient operating equipment is available for service, all clean and in impeccable order.
\xef\x82\xa7 Maintains clean and impeccable order at work, maintains personal hygiene.
\xef\x82\xa7 Cleans his or her work environment which includes tables, chairs, side stations, floor assigned, corridor, baby chair, all furniture within assigned area.
\xef\x82\xa7 Ensures that personal appearance and uniform are as per standard.
\xef\x82\xa7 Follows all hygiene requirements diligently, monitors cleanliness in his area and ensures cleaning of those areas as per standards.
\xef\x82\xa7 Attentive and assertive to guest needs.
\xef\x82\xa7 Remains in his or her area, approachable to guests.
\xef\x82\xa7 Thru guest interaction to seek performance of team, areas of improvement and seeks to deliver over and above to guests.
\xef\x82\xa7 Works as a team, liaises and coordinates with team, peers and other managers of the food and beverage division.
\xef\x82\xa7 Follows close down procedures, ensures that all stocks and assets are secured, only leaves shift after approval of manager.
\xef\x82\xa7 Executes any other work or responsibility within his scope of duty given by the manager.

Suitable candidate should have a minimum of 1-2 years\' experience in the same capacity in an upscale 5* hotel/resort environment. Strong bar knowledge is a must. Should have excellent personal and interpersonal skills. Should be able to build strong relationship with high profile and diverse clientele. Should be a dynamic team player and able to provide the highest standard of service to our guests. Excellent communication in English language is required and an additional languages will be highly regarded.
