Job Description
Job Title: Bartender cum Waiter Location: Sandy Beach Hotel and Resort, Al Aqah, Fujairah Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and versatile Bartender cum Waiter to join our team at Sandy Beach Hotel and Resort. The Bartender cum Waiter will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as serving food items to guests of the hotel. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a friendly and outgoing personality, and a passion for customer service. Responsibilities:
- Greet customers as they arrive at the bar or restaurant and take their orders for drinks and food
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in a timely and efficient manner
- Serve food items to customers, including taking orders and delivering the food to tables
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and guidelines
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed
- Provide recommendations to customers on drinks and food items that pair well together
- Handle cash and credit card transactions, and reconcile the cash register at the end of each shift
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, and ensure their satisfaction with their experience at the bar or restaurant
- Upsell additional drinks and snacks to customers
- Prepare and serve snacks and light meals to customers as requested
- Maintain a clean and organized bar or restaurant area, including all equipment and supplies
- Minimum of 2 year of experience working as a Bartender or Waiter
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Strong knowledge of different types of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and their preparation methods
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift heavy objects (up to 15 Kgs)
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and guidelines related to the food and beverage industry
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Monthly salary starting from 1600+ AED based on experience and qualifications
