Job Description
We are searching for creative and enthusiastic Bartenders to join our growing team! If you enjoy making excellent drinks and creating a great atmosphere, we want you! Preferably candidates who are willing to work at Yas Island, Abu Dhabi.
- Follow our Cycle of Service at all times
- Prepare beverages according to recipes and in line with company standards
- Assess customers\xe2\x80\x99 needs and preferences and make recommendations, staying guest focused and nurturing an excellent guest experience at all times
- Serve food and beverages in accordance with laid-down standards, but above all in a professional, courteous manner
- Be totally familiar with the composition of all menu items
- Ensure that the bar counter maintenance is always respected and that our guests are always at ease and comfortable when sat down at the bar
- Build rapport with regular customers to create a positive atmosphere
- Taking inventory and ordering supplies to ensure bar and tables are well-stocked
- Ensure that customers are correctly charged, present the bill and take payment from the customer, in accordance with the procedures of the establishment
- Redirect customer complaints to the Bar Manager/General manager
- Ensure correct set up of the bar in line with laid-down procedures and par levels
- Clean the agreed designated areas, in accordance with laid-down procedures, morning/evening routines and hygiene requirements
- Be continually aware of, and maintain, the highest standards of personal hygiene and dress code
- Attend meetings and training courses as required
- Ensure customers\xe2\x80\x99 identification is checked when applicable and confirm legal drinking age requirements are met
- Report any suspicious packages or parcels to management without delay
- Take part in any fire or evacuation drills and ensure complete familiarization with all exits, including those normally used by customers, as well as fire escapes
- Carry out any other reasonable request asked by the management
- High school diploma or ANY relevant certifications
- Training certifications related to Bartending is a plus
- Familiar with point-of-sale computers and software
- Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- Positive, engaging personality, and professional appearance
- Flexible with working hours and have the endurance to walk and stand for long hours
