Job Description
A bartender mixes and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, manages the bar area, interacts with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere, processes payments, and ensures responsible alcohol service and adherence to safety regulations. Key responsibilities include drink preparation, customer service, inventory management, cash handling, and maintaining bar cleanliness.
Responsiblity
Mixology Skills: Excellent knowledge of drink recipes and mixing techniques. Customer Service: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members. Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately prepare drinks and maintain cleanliness. Multitasking: Efficiently manage several tasks and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. POS System Knowledge: Proficiency in operating a cash register and POS system. Knowledge of Alcohol Laws: Understanding of responsible alcohol service and safety regulations. Beverage Preparation: Prepare and serve a variety of drinks, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, according to established recipes and customer preferences. Customer Service: Greet guests warmly, take orders, provide drink recommendations, and ensure a positive and engaging experience. Bar Maintenance: Keep the bar area clean, organized, and stocked with ingredients, glassware, and supplies. Inventory Management: Monitor and manage bar inventory, restock items as needed, and assist with ordering supplies.
