Bartender
Position: Bartender
Department: Food & Beverage
Reports to: Bar Supervisor / Food & Beverage Manager
Job Purpose:
To prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests, creating a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere at the bar. The Bartender is responsible for maintaining high standards of quality, mixology, and guest interaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve cocktails, beers, wines, and other drinks as per hotel standards and recipes.
- Provide engaging and friendly service, interacting with guests at the bar.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including bar tops, glassware, and equipment.
- Manage bar inventory, stock control, and restocking of bar supplies.
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age of guests.
- Handle cash and process transactions accurately.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety and alcohol service regulations.
- Create and recommend new cocktail recipes to enhance the beverage menu.
- Proven experience as a Bartender in a hotel, cocktail bar, or high-volume establishment.
- Extensive knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks.
- Knowledge of a wide range of alcoholic beverages and cocktail recipes.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple orders accurately and efficiently.
- Must meet the legal age requirement for serving alcohol in Abu Dhabi.
