The Role:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate is not just a drink maker but a storyteller, an entertainer, and the heart of the bar. You will be responsible for crafting classic and innovative beverages, providing outstanding customer service, and contributing to the overall positive atmosphere of our establishment.
Key Responsibilities:
Mixology & Service:

• Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with speed, accuracy, and consistency.
• Demonstrate extensive knowledge of classic cocktails, contemporary mixology trends, and our signature menu.
• Make recommendations and guide guests through our beverage selection.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar station, including backstock.
• Ensure all drinks are prepared in compliance with company standards and recipes.

Customer Experience:

• Provide friendly, attentive, and professional service to all guests.
• Engage with customers, build rapport, and create a welcoming and lively environment.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints with patience and professionalism.
• Accurately process cash and credit card transactions using the POS system.

Operations & Teamwork:

• Check identification to verify legal drinking age and comply with all alcohol service laws and regulations.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering and restocking bar supplies, including liquor, mixers, glassware, and fruit.
• Follow all opening and closing procedures diligently.
• Work collaboratively with servers, barbacks, and management to ensure seamless service.
• Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and health policies.

What We're Looking For (Qualifications):
Required:

• Proven experience as a Bartender.
• Extensive knowledge of drink preparation, bar equipment, and sanitation standards.
• Understanding of state/federal liquor laws and responsible service practices (e.g., ServSafe Alcohol, TIPS certification, or ability to obtain certification).
• Except interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm and efficient during busy periods.
• High level of integrity and professionalism.
• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol according to state law.

Preferred:

• Formal bartending training or certification.
• Knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• Inventory management experience.
• A passion for mixology and continuous learning about spirits and cocktails.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry cases of liquor, beer, and ice (up to 50 lbs).
• Ability to bend, reach, and stoop frequently.
