Key Responsibilities

Beverage Preparation:

Expertly prepare a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and specialty items, following established recipes and quality standards.

Customer Service:

Greet customers warmly, take orders efficiently, answer questions about menu items, and make personalized recommendations.

Equipment Operation:

Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee-making equipment, ensuring they are clean and in proper working order.

Workstation Management:

Keep the bar area clean, organized, and fully stocked with supplies like coffee beans, milk, and pastries.

Health & Safety:

Adhere to all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations to maintain a sanitary environment.

Team Collaboration:

Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations and a positive atmosphere for customers.

Key Skills and Qualifications

Customer Service:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to provide excellent service and create a welcoming environment.

Coffee Knowledge:

Familiarity with various coffee beans, brewing methods, and drink recipes.

Operational Skills:

Experience with operating espresso machines and other coffee equipment.

Efficiency:

Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Attention to Detail:

Keen awareness of customer preferences, order accuracy, and cleanliness standards.

Flexibility:

Willingness to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Other Requirements:

Experienced barista with coffee making (manual) and coffee art skills. Must have fine dining experience (Italian service preferred) and table service. 5 hotel or hospitality experience
Will assist with coffee making, food service and clearing, setup and pack down for private appointments and events, knowledge of sequence of service Hands on attitude, common sense, positive attitude and welcoming. * Fluent in English (additional language Italian/Arabic).
