Job Description

A Barista is responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee and tea beverages, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and Serve Beverages

: Create high-quality coffee, espresso, and tea drinks according to established recipes and customer preferences.

Customer Interaction

: Greet customers warmly, take orders, and provide recommendations based on their tastes.

Maintain Cleanliness

: Keep the coffee bar, equipment, and seating areas clean and sanitized.

Handle Transactions

: Process payments accurately using cash registers and credit/debit machines.

Inventory Management

: Monitor stock levels of coffee beans, supplies, and food items, and assist in ordering as needed.

Upselling

: Promote special items and menu offerings to enhance customer experience and increase sales.

Skills and Qualifications:

Customer Service Skills

: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers effectively.

Knowledge of Coffee

: Familiarity with different coffee beans, brewing methods, and drink recipes.

Attention to Detail

: Ability to follow recipes precisely and maintain high standards of quality.

Team Player

Flexibility

: Ability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
