The Barista at Sushi Station is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee, teas, and specialty beverages, while ensuring an exceptional guest experience that complements the restaurant's Japanese dining concept. The role involves beverage preparation, customer service, cleanliness, and assisting in smooth front-of-house operations in line with Sushi Station's high hospitality standards

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages including espresso-based drinks and Matcha , specialty teas, mocktails, and seasonal beverages according to company recipes and presentation standards.? Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and recommend beverage pairings with sushi and dessert items.? Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, brewers, blenders, and related cafe equipment.? Ensure consistency in taste, temperature, and presentation of all beverages served.? Upsell menu items, promote new products, and maintain a strong knowledge of all beverage offerings.? Follow hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards according to Dubai Municipality requirements.? Clean and organize the barista station, wash utensils, restock supplies (coffee beans, milk, syrups, cups), and monitor inventory.? Handle POS transactions, process cash or card payments, and reconcile at shift closing.? Support front-of-house during peak times, assist with dessert plating or takeaway packaging when required.? Report any maintenance, supply shortages, or customer feedback promptly to the shift in-charge
