Barista
to join our team -- someone who not only loves crafting great coffee but also understands the fitness lifestyle and can prepare protein shakes and smoothies.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages including espresso-based drinks, protein shakes, and smoothies
Calibrate and maintain espresso machines to ensure consistent quality
Take customer orders and provide excellent service in a friendly, efficient manner
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the cafe/bar area and equipment
Manage inventory of beverages, supplements, and consumables
Track stock levels and assist in placing orders when needed
Utilize computer systems for order tracking, stock updates, and daily reporting
Ensure accurate billing and handle point-of-sale (POS) transactions
Promote featured menu items, daily specials, and fitness-related drinks
Requirements:
At least 1 to 2 year of experience as a Barista (preferably in a health or fitness environment)
Strong knowledge of coffee preparation and machine calibration
Experience in making protein shakes and smoothies is a must
Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and sales reporting
Familiarity with POS systems and inventory software is an advantage
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Attention to detail, reliability, and a positive, team-oriented attitude
Basic English proficiency
