Position Overview:

ZAD Food Store is seeking a skilled and energetic

Barista / Store Assistant

who can deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining smooth store operations. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in

retail environments

such as

ADNOC Oasis

,

Zoom

, or similar outlets, with a strong understanding of both

coffee preparation

and

retail item management

(including camping essentials, snacks, and beverages).

Key Responsibilities:

Barista Duties:

Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, tea, and other beverages according to ZAD standards. Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and hygiene in all beverage preparations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee counter, machines, and utensils. Monitor stock levels for coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other ingredients, and inform the supervisor of replenishment needs. Assist in developing and promoting seasonal or new beverage offerings.

Store Assistant / Retail Duties:

Greet customers and provide excellent service at the counter and throughout the store. Handle billing, POS operations, and cash/card transactions accurately. Refill and organize shelves, displays, and chillers for snacks, beverages, and camping supplies. Ensure expiry checks and proper product rotation (FIFO method). Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the store area, including display racks and storage. Assist with receiving and inspecting stock deliveries. Support promotional activities and in-store marketing displays.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Minimum 1-2 years

of experience as a

Barista

or

Retail Store Assistant

(experience in ADNOC, Zoom, or similar convenience stores is preferred). Basic knowledge of

coffee machines

,

POS systems

, and

retail inventory handling

. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays. Pleasant personality and professional appearance. High school diploma or equivalent; barista or retail certification is a plus.
