Job Summary:

The Barista / Juice Maker is responsible for preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages, including specialty coffee, fresh juices, smoothies, and other drinks. This role requires excellent customer service, attention to detail, product knowledge, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Beverage Preparation

Prepare and serve coffee-based beverages (espresso, cappuccino, latte, Americano, etc.) according to company standards. Prepare fresh juices, smoothies, milkshakes, mocktails, and other non-alcoholic beverages. Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation of all drinks. Follow proper recipes, portioning, and garnishing standards.

2. Customer Service

Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner. Take customer orders accurately and provide recommendations when needed. Handle special requests and dietary requirements (e.g., sugar-free, dairy-free, gluten-free options). Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering timely and high-quality service.

3. Operations & Hygiene

Set up and maintain the workstation, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for service. Clean and sanitize equipment (juicers, blenders, espresso machines) after each use. Follow health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times. Maintain stock of ingredients (fruits, coffee beans, milk, syrups, etc.) and report shortages. Assist in inventory management by recording daily usage and wastage.

4. Teamwork & Support

Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth container /restaurant operations. Support the kitchen and service staff during peak hours if needed. Follow instructions from supervisors and assist in training new staff.

Qualifications & Skills:

Previous experience as a Barista or Juice Maker (preferred). Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and juicing/blending methods. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure. High standards of cleanliness and personal hygiene. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for long periods. Ability to lift and move items up to 15-20 kg (fruit boxes, milk cartons, etc.). Manual dexterity for operating juicers, blenders, and coffee machines.
