Driven to create unique home-grown food concepts that bring people together, the Independent Food Company is a UAE-based hospitality company with multiple concepts under its umbrella - SALT, Parker's, Grind, Somewhere, Public, Shalwa, Soil and Kumo.
We are presently seeking to hire a highly qualified Barista for SHALWA where the ideal candidate will prepare and serve high-quality coffee and beverages while also being capable of performing Waiter/Waitress duties to support a seamless guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages according to company standards
- Operate coffee machines and other equipment safely and efficiently
- Welcome and serve guests when needed, taking orders and delivering food and beverages
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe and service areas
- Assist guests with inquiries in a courteous and professional manner
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow
- Support overall restaurant operations as needed
