Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Barge Operations Manager to oversee and coordinate all operational activities on our marine barge. He will be responsible for ensuring the safety, efficiency, and compliance of offshore operations, managing the crew, and liaising with clients and onshore support teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily offshore operations on the barge, including drilling, production, and maintenance activities.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.

Manage and supervise the offshore crew, including safety officers, technicians, and other personnel.

Coordinate with onshore management, clients, and contractors to meet operational objectives.

Conduct risk assessments and implement safety protocols to prevent accidents.

Monitor operational performance and report on progress, issues, and safety incidents.

Ensure all equipment and machinery are properly maintained and operational.

Lead emergency response procedures and ensure preparedness for potential incidents.

Maintain accurate documentation and logs of all operational activities.

Requirements:

Proven experience as an Barge operations Manager, Marine Supervisor, or similar role.

Extensive knowledge of offshore drilling, production, and safety procedures.

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Relevant certifications such as BOSIET, HUET, OGUK, or equivalent.

Ability to work in a challenging offshore environment and handle emergency situations.

Valid offshore certifications and licenses as per industry standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Marine Science, or related field.

Experience with offshore projects in oil and gas, renewables, or maritime industries.

Familiarity with safety management systems and regulatory compliance.
