Position Overview
Dicetek LLC is seeking an experienced Banner SIS Technical Consultant to support and enhance Ellucian Banner Student Information System environments for higher education clients. The successful candidate will bring strong technical expertise across multiple Banner modules, advanced database and programming skills, and experience in integrations, upgrades, and system performance optimization. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, reliable, and scalable academic solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical support and configuration across Banner SIS Version 9 modules, including Admissions, Student Records, Registration, Academic History, Academic Advising, and Accounts Receivable.
• Manage and implement system customizations using Page Builder, Banner Extensibility, and .NET frameworks.
• Develop, test, and deploy workflows, automation scripts, and business rules for academic and administrative processes.
• Work with Oracle Database and PL/SQL for data management, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Design and manage integrations between Banner and related systems such as Degree Works, Blackboard Ultra LMS, Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, and Courseleaf CMS.
• Develop reports and dashboards using Argos, Jasper Reports, Power BI, Oracle Reports, and other analytics tools.
• Ensure data security, access control, and compliance with institutional and regulatory requirements.
• Support Banner SaaS migrations, version upgrades, and new module implementations.
• Collaborate with Ellucian and third-party vendors for issue resolution, system enhancements, and change management.
• Conduct performance analysis, tuning, and troubleshooting to ensure system efficiency and uptime.
• Provide end-user training, documentation, and technical support during deployment and maintenance phases.

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
• 7-10 years of experience as a Banner SIS Technical Consultant, preferably with Version 9.
• Strong proficiency in Oracle Database, SQL, PL/SQL, and .NET Core development.
• Experience with Banner Extensibility Framework (BEF) and workflow automation.
• In-depth understanding of system integrations, APIs, and data exchange protocols.
• Expertise in reporting and analytics tools such as Argos, Power BI, and Oracle Reports.
• Experience in SaaS migrations, upgrades, and re-engineering of legacy integrations.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Certifications such as Ellucian Banner, PMP, ITIL Foundation, or Agile SCRUM are advantageous.
