This position is contingent upon contract award



SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking a Balouchi/Urdu Interpreters to be based at NSA Bahrain to support the NCIS Middle East Field Office (MEFO) Transnational Crimes Unit (TCU).



Essential Job Duties



To provide linguist support for military operations and interpret during interviews, meetings, and conferences. Conduct linguistic analysis and research on assigned projects. Translate and interpret documents, conversations, and audio recordings from the target language(s) to English and vice versa.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements



Active in scope Secret clearance. Familiarity with TCU's mission and operational requirements. Prior operational experience in Middle East, Africa, or CENTCOM AOR. Language Proficiency: ILR Level 3 in Balouch and Urdu. Certification: CAT II Certified Linguists. Residency: Must be physically located in Bahrain. Deployment Readiness: Must be able to deploy within hours of notification.

Operational & Physical Requirements

Swimming Qualification: Department of Navy equivalent to a 3rd class swimmer (2nd class preferred). Training Capability: + Must be able to complete US Coast Guard maritime vessel boarding training.
+ Must be able to complete water survival training.

Work Environment

Position may require travel on short notice to overseas locations for site assessments and surveys. Wearing of location appropriate attire and PPE when in the field is required.
