We are seeking a passionate and patient Ballet Instructor to lead engaging ballet classes for children ages 3 to 7. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children and a strong foundation in classical ballet. Your role will be to introduce basic ballet techniques, promote physical activity, and cultivate a love for movement and music.
Responsibilities:
Plan and conduct ballet classes appropriate for children ages 3-7.
Create a positive, encouraging, and safe environment that makes dance fun.
Teach basic ballet positions, movements, and simple routines.
Encourage self-expression and develop motor skills, balance, and coordination.
Communicate with parents and staff about student progress and class updates.
Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and ready for sessions.
Participate in occasional performances, showcases, or parent observation days.
Qualifications:
Formal training in ballet (certification or diploma preferred).
Previous experience teaching dance to young children (ages 3-7).
Warm, enthusiastic, and patient personality.
Strong communication and classroom management skills.
Ability to creatively adapt lessons to different skill levels.
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) is a plus.
