PURPOSE OF POSITION
Support bakery operations in our central production kitchen, ensuring consistent quality preparation of baked goods while maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with UAE regulations.
KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in preparation and production of bakery items according to standardized recipes
Execute basic bakery techniques including mixing, kneading, rolling, and shaping under supervision
Operate bakery equipment safely including mixers, sheeters, ovens, and specialized tools
Maintain food safety standards and HACCP compliance per UAE Municipality regulations
Ensure proper ingredient storage, rotation, and inventory management
Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and tools according to schedules
Collaborate effectively with team members and other kitchen departments
Maintain production records and assist with daily inventory counts

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Culinary diploma/certificate or equivalent practical experience
Minimum 1-2 years in commercial baking; high-volume production kitchen
Food safety certification
Basic pastry or bakery knowledge, equipment operation, recipe following, inventory management systems
