. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality baked goods using authentic techniques and ingredients, ensuring consistency, creativity, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare a wide range of
Manakish
(za'atar, cheese, meat, etc.) using traditional methods.
Bake
Iranian breads
such as Sangak, Barbari, Taftan, and others to authentic standards.
Create a variety of
Middle Eastern pastries
(sweet & savory) daily.
Manage dough preparation, proofing, baking, and presentation.
Monitor inventory and ensure freshness and hygiene standards are met.
Collaborate with the kitchen team on menu innovation and seasonal offerings.
Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization in the bakery section.
Requirements
Proven experience as a
Bakery Chef/Baker
, specifically in
Manakish and Iranian bread
.
In-depth knowledge of traditional baking techniques and ingredients.
Ability to work early mornings or flexible shifts as needed.
Strong attention to detail and passion for high-quality baking.
Understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations.
Spoken Arabic or Farsi is a plus; English communication is required.
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of experience in a bakery or restaurant setting.
Previous experience working in the UAE or Gulf region.
Ability to train and lead junior kitchen staff if required.
