This includes wiping down counter tops in between tasks, sweeping, moping, emptying trash containers, and keeping all equipment clean such as fridges, ovens, stove, mixers, baking racks, rolling bins, etc. Maintain the premises of baking area in a neat and hygienic manner. Lifting heavy sacks of flour and other baking items. Operating baking machinery and implements. Maintain and sanitise baking utensils, tools, implements and machinery. Develop and create new delicious bakery products and recipes. Develop decorative cakes and pastries to meet customers' orders and tastes. Ensure total customer satisfaction through baking of delicious bakery products. Strictly adhere to food safety laws and standards while preparing bakery products. Follow standardised recipes for all products produced for sale Have a desire to produce consistent and delicious products Maintain a list of items to be ordered and communicate fruit needs to owner several days in advance Be comfortable with volume production using commercial equipment Be able to do common kitchen maths.
