Job Description

A bakery chef for a catering company is responsible for creating, preparing, and presenting a wide variety of baked goods, including breads, pastries, and desserts, for catering events. This role also involves developing new recipes, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean and organized baking area, while adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.

Baking and Preparation:

Preparing a variety of baked goods such as cakes, cookies, pies, and breads, following both traditional and modern recipes.

Food Safety and Sanitation:

Maintaining a clean and organized baking area and adhering to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.

Presentation and Decoration:

Decorating pastries and desserts with icings, toppings, and other elements to ensure visually appealing presentations.

Teamwork and Supervision:

Collaborating with other chefs and kitchen staff, and potentially training and supervising junior baking staff.

Budget Management:

Contributing to the management of the baking budget, including costs for ingredients and supplies.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,200.00 per month

Experience:

Bakery or Confectionary: 3 years (Required)
