Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods including breads, pastries, cakes, and other bakery products.
Follow recipes, production schedules, and safety and sanitation standards.
Monitor baking process and make adjustments as needed to ensure high quality.
Ensure freshness and quality of all products.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen/baking area.
Manage inventory of baking ingredients and supplies.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new bakery items.
Handle baking equipment and tools with care and ensure regular maintenance.
Requirements:
Experience:
Minimum
2 years of professional baking experience in the UAE
(required)
Language:
Sinhala speaker
(required)
Knowledge of baking techniques and food safety standards.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and time management.
Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, if needed.
