What you will be doing:

Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, bread, cakes, and other baked goods according to recipes or special dietary requirements

Decorate and present baked goods in an appealing and artistic manner

Monitor oven temperatures and baking times to ensure quality and consistency

Maintain inventory of baking ingredients and supplies, and place orders as needed

Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards in all stages of food preparation and handling

Collaborate with other kitchen staff to plan and coordinate baking schedules

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new baking techniques

Other duties as assigned

Your experience and skills include:

Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene.

Cope with standing for long hours and with heavy lifting.

Able to work in cold conditions.

Be comfortable handling raw meat, animal tissue and meat products.

Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment

Ability to work cohesively and collectively as part of a team

Physicals aspects include but are not limited to:

Constant standing and walking throughout shift

Frequent lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.

Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting

Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
