We are seeking a skilled and passionate Baker to prepare a variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and desserts. The Baker will ensure high-quality production, maintain cleanliness, and adhere to health and safety standards. Creativity, time management, and attention to detail are crucial in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Baking and Preparation:
- Prepare and bake a variety of products such as bread, rolls, cakes, cookies, pies, pastries, and desserts.
- Follow recipes and adjust as necessary for consistency and quality.
2. Ingredient Management:
- Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes or personal judgment, using scales, measuring cups, or spoons.
- Maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies, ensuring freshness and availability.
3. Decoration and Presentation:
- Decorate cakes, pastries, and other baked goods to meet design and presentation standards.
- Create visually appealing displays for bakery items.
4. Equipment Operation:
- Operate and maintain baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, and blenders.
- Ensure all tools and machinery are cleaned and in good working condition.
5. Health and Safety Compliance:
- Follow all food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
6. Customer Interaction (if applicable):
- Respond to customer requests, including special orders or custom designs.
- Provide exceptional service by ensuring customer satisfaction with products.
