Backend Developer - NodeJs Location: Dubai Responsibilities: \xc2\xb7 Work closely with other engineers across teams to architect and build highly scalable and robust backend applications and services. \xc2\xb7 Participate in team agile and engineering practices and contribute to their continuous evolution. \xc2\xb7 Continuously improve the quality and reliability of services and help define and enhance the patterns and principles that the team follows. \xc2\xb7 Critically question and simplify our tech org systems/processes and solutions. \xc2\xb7 Write high quality, performant and reliable code while working on defined tasks/bugs independently. \xc2\xb7 Mentor and guide junior members of the team. Minimum Experience & Skills: \xc2\xb7 Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in computer science or equivalent

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

\xc2\xb7 Understanding of Agile principles and associated practices \xc2\xb7 5+ years of software engineering experience \xc2\xb7 Experience in Test driven development (TDD) \xc2\xb7 Experience with backend development using Nodejs. \xc2\xb7 Strong experience building Nodejs Application, and Micro Services using NestJs \xc2\xb7 Experience with backend development using Java (Will be a plus). \xc2\xb7 Experience working with relational and non-relational databases. \xc2\xb7 Experience with GraphQL tools and mechanisms \xc2\xb7 Experience in Distributed Systems Architecture: Microservices, Event-Driven, and RESTful Services \xc2\xb7 Strong experience with tools used in Distributed Systems such as Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ \xc2\xb7 Strong experience with securing and optimizing backend services. \xc2\xb7 Exposed to cloud platforms (Such as: AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)

• Ability to mentor other engineers.
