Backend Developer - NodeJs (Typescript)

The successful candidate will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co workers into the application. Therefore, a basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well.

Responsibilities:

• Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic
• Writing reusable, testable, and efficient codes
• Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications
• Implementation of security and data protection
• Integration of data storage solutions
• Works with the product team to understand project requirements
• Support existing features and develop new ones.
• Maintain high-quality codebase, tested, secure and up to date
• Find problems and solve them before they arise.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Work on the backend, and set up an automatic response to user interaction. Database.
• Responsible for managing the interchange of data between the server and the users
• Solve problems independently working with new technologies to create quick solutions.
• You will work within a team, collaborate and add value through participation in peer code
• Follow proper documentation for changes in application and further updates
• Reviews, provide comments and suggestions, work with cross-functional teams to achieve goals
• Experience working with agile methodologies.

Requirements:

• An engineering degree B.E/B.Tech/MCA/M.Tech/M.Sc
• Minimum 5 years of overall experience as a Backend Developer with minimum 3 years of coding experience in Node JS, Express JS.
• Proficient in Javascript and Typescript
• Familiarity with ECommerce
• Hands-on experience in performance tuning, debugging, monitoring
• Excellent knowledge of developing scalable and highly-available Restful APIs using NodeJS technologies
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL & MongoDB.
• Well-versed with CI/CD principles, and actively involved in solving, and troubleshooting issues in the distributed services ecosystem
• Understanding of containerization, experienced in Dockers, and Kubernetes.
• Exposed to API gateway integrations like Twilio, SendGrid etc.
• Understanding of Single-Sign-on or token-based authentication (Rest, JWT, oAuth)
• Possess expert knowledge of task/message queues including but not limited to AWS, Microsoft Azure, RabbitMQ, Pushpin and Kafka
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Experience with Javascript library development
