We are looking for a talented Backend Developer to join our team in Dubai and contribute to the development of Odix Pay - the ultimate crypto wallet and card app. While strong blockchain expertise is not required, having a basic understanding or interest in blockchain technology is a plus. About Odix Pay

Odix Pay is a secure, user-friendly crypto wallet and card app that empowers users to store, manage, and spend their digital assets effortlessly. With features like real-time expense tracking, instant deposits/withdrawals, and a crypto card for real-world purchases, Odix Pay redefines financial freedom.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable, secure backend systems to support Odix Pay's core functionalities. Build and maintain APIs and microservices for seamless integration with frontend and mobile apps. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, innovative features. Optimize system performance to ensure reliable and fast transactions. Implement secure wallet functionalities for managing digital assets. Stay informed about fintech and blockchain trends to contribute to product improvements.
Requirements

3+ years of experience as a Backend Developer. Proficiency in backend programming languages like Node.js, Python, or Go. Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture. Basic understanding of blockchain principles or a willingness to learn. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Based in Dubai or willing to relocate. Experienced in Firebase Cloud Firestore, capable of designing scalable and optimized data models, efficiently managing relationships between collections and documents, implementing indexing strategies to enhance query performance, and effectively utilizing Firestore Security Rules for data protection.

Proficient in Firebase Cloud Functions, with expertise in serverless backend development, capable of implementing asynchronous operations and scheduled tasks (cron jobs), handling Firestore triggers (onCreate, onUpdate, onDelete) for dynamic data processing, integrating third-party APIs, and managing error handling effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in fintech or payment systems. Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. Understanding of security best practices for backend systems.
