Job Purpose Carries out and supervises Base-level maintenance tasks on Air Arabia and third-party aircraft within the CAR 66 aEUR~B1aEUR(TM) License Category, ensuring the work is performed, certified, and recorded accurately and timely in accordance with Air Arabia and regulatory requirements. Key Result Responsibilities
Reviews assigned task cards with the Maintenance Manager to understand the work, priorities, documentation requirements, and cautions before starting work. Prepares and performs scheduled aircraft maintenance according to task cards, ensuring documentation, parts, tools, and GSE are used as instructed. Conducts aircraft tests and inspections to identify and record defects or damages per approved procedures. Performs defect troubleshooting and rectification following Aircraft Maintenance Manuals and Engineering Department instructions. Signs off maintenance tasks within own authorization, verifying completion to standard. Coordinates with other Engineers and Technicians to ensure proper workflow and handover. Ensures safety precautions are followed during all maintenance activities. Uses proper GSE and protective equipment to prevent injuries. Manages human factors to ensure continuity and proper handover of maintenance tasks. Provides support and advice to operational teams, maintaining positive customer service. Provides supervision and guidance to Technicians supporting own tasks. Represents Air Arabia professionally to Flight Crews, other companies, and customers. Maintains awareness of maintenance costs, minimizing waste and unnecessary repairs. Qualifications (Academic, training, languages)
Holds or has held an EASA Part 66 or GCAA CAR 66 B1 Aircraft Maintenance License with approvals on Airbus A320. Must commit to removing any license limitations within 9 months of induction. Ability to obtain an unrestricted GCAA CAR 66 B1 Category License. Deep knowledge of airframe and engine systems maintenance. Proficient in English communication. Good computer skills (Microsoft Office). Ability to obtain a UAE driving license. Work Experience
External applicants At least 2 yearsaEUR(TM) certifying maintenance experience on Airbus A320 family. At least 5 yearsaEUR(TM) experience in a Base Maintenance environment. Seniority level
