Key Responsibilities:

Assess and redesign Azure infrastructure including VMs, VNets, NSGs, ExpressRoute, VPN, and Storage. Optimize cloud resource usage to ensure cost efficiency and scalability. Lead deployments, migrations, and environment transformations. Manage Azure Active Directory, RBAC, and MFA policies. Implement and monitor Azure Defender, Key Vault, and cloud security best practices. Strengthen compliance and governance across cloud workloads. Configure and manage Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights. Proactively identify performance bottlenecks and implement optimization strategies. Deploy and manage containers using Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). Support Azure SQL and Cosmos DB deployments and tuning. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions. Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth releases.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. Microsoft Certifications:

Highly Desirable:

AZ-305 (Solutions Architect Expert), AZ-500 (Security Engineer Associate)

Experience

8-10+ years in IT Infrastructure, with minimum 5+ years in Azure-focused roles. Strong expertise in Azure environment assessment, transformation, and optimization. Proven leadership in Azure deployment and redesign projects. Azure Infrastructure (IaaS): VMs, VNets, NSGs, ExpressRoute, VPN, Storage. Identity & Access: Azure AD, RBAC, MFA. Security: Azure Defender, Key Vault, compliance frameworks. Monitoring: Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights. Containers & Databases: Docker, AKS, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB. DevOps Tools: Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions. Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
