Job Objective

The

Microsoft

Cloud

Architect

is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing

both

cloud

and

on-premises

infrastructure

to ensure seamless operations, security, and scalability. The role focuses on delivering

innovative

solutions

using

Microsoft

Azure

while maintaining and optimizing

on-premises

environments

, ensuring compliance with security, performance, and business continuity requirements. Additionally, the architect will drive

digital

transformation

by integrating cloud and local systems, automating processes, and enhancing overall IT infrastructure efficiency to support the organization's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Cloud Infrastructure Design, Implementation, and Management

?Design

advanced cloud solutions

using

Microsoft Azure

that meet business needs and enhance operational efficiency. ?Manage and deploy

Azure services

, including:

Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS), Azure Active Directory, Azure DevOps, Azure Security Center, Azure Sentinel, Exchange 365.

?Develop

Cloud Migration Strategies

to ensure a seamless transition from traditional infrastructure to Azure. ?Manage and optimize

Hybrid Cloud Environments

, integrating on-premises infrastructure with

Azure Hybrid Services

, such as

Azure Arc, Azure Stack

, Exchange Hybrid.

2.Security & Compliance

?Implement and manage

Cloud Governance Solutions

using

Azure Policy, Management Groups, RBAC

to ensure compliance with corporate policies. ?Enforce security standards to protect cloud systems and data from cyber threats through solutions like:

Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Azure Sentinel, Zero Trust Architecture

3.Backup & Disaster Recovery

?Design, implement and manage

Backup & Disaster Recovery Strategies

using

Azure Backup, Azure Site Recovery

and third-party backup solutions to ensure business continuity. ?Develop

Incident Response and Disaster Recovery Plans

to safeguard data and ensure the availability of critical services.

4.Automation & Optimization

?Develop

Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Solutions

using

Terraform, ARM Templates, Bicep

to enable automated and consistent deployments. ?Automate cloud operations using

Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Power Automate

to enhance operational efficiency. ?Optimize system performance and analyze cloud operations data using

Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights

5.Cloud Networking Management

?Manage and optimize cloud networking infrastructure, including:

Azure Virtual Network, ExpressRoute, Load Balancers, VPN Gateway

to ensure stable and secure connectivity between cloud and on-premises environments.

6.DevOps & CI/CD Support

?Collaborate with

DevOps teams

to improve

CI/CD

operations using

Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions

. ?Manage containerized applications using

Kubernetes

for smooth application deployments.

7.AI & Big Data Analytics

?Develop

AI and Big Data Analytics Solutions

using

Azure AI, Machine Learning, Synapse Analytics

to drive innovation and add business value. ?Implement

Serverless Computing Solutions

using

Azure Functions, Azure App Services

to achieve high-performance and cost-efficient applications.

8.Monitoring and Cost Optimization

?

Track and analyze Azure consumption

to ensure efficient resource utilization. ?

Monitor cloud spending

and optimize resource allocation to match actual business needs. ?

Identify cost-saving opportunities

by rightsizing virtual machines, leveraging reserved instances, and utilizing cost management tools. ?

Implement best practices for cost governance

to reduce unnecessary expenditures and enhance budget efficiency.

9.On-Premises Infrastructure Management

?Operate and maintain on-premises infrastructure, including: Windows Server, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, File & Print Services oVMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V ZTNA, Firewalls, Endpoint Security Solutions

Educational Background:

?

Bachelor's degree

in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. ?Preferred certifications:

Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate

Technical Skills:

?Hands-on experience in

cloud infrastructure design and management

using

Microsoft Azure

. ?Proficiency in

Azure infrastructure, networking, and cloud computing

. ?Expertise in

Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools

such as

Terraform, ARM Templates, Bicep

. ?Strong knowledge of

cloud security, identity management, and data protection

in Azure. ?Experience in

DevOps, CI/CD, and process automation

using

Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions

. ?Solid understanding of

cloud databases

like

Azure SQL, Cosmos DB

. ?Ability to

troubleshoot and optimize

cloud services and performance.
