Role Title: AWP Service Engineer
Location: Dubai
Job Purpose
To perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of heavy equipment-including Forklifts, Excavators, Aerial Work Platforms (AWP), and other earth-moving machinery. The role ensures high-quality technical support, timely field service delivery, compliance with safety standards, and efficient communication with customers and internal teams within the heavy equipment rental industry.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Service & Maintenance
Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment and machinery such as Forklifts, Excavators, AWPs, and similar heavy equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections to ensure optimal equipment performance.
Diagnose faults and provide effective repair solutions with high attention to detail.
Customer & Field Support
Deliver technical support to customers and internal teams on-site and remotely.
Demonstrate strong field service management and communication skills when interacting with clients.
Ensure prompt response to service calls and resolve issues efficiently.
Operational Excellence
Document service activities, maintenance tasks, and repairs accurately.
Maintain compliance with safety standards, operational policies, and company procedures.
Support continuous improvements in service processes and equipment handling.
Coordination & Reporting
Coordinate with various teams to ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
Prepare service reports, highlight critical problems, and recommend corrective actions.
Ensure availability and proper use of required tools, equipment, and materials.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Strong technical expertise and proven experience in a similar role.
Valid driver's license.
Experience
Mandatory hands-on experience working with Forklifts, Excavators, AWPs, and other heavy earth-moving equipment.
Experience in troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and field service operations.
Strong problem-solving skills, communication abilities, and teamwork orientation.
Willingness to travel for on-site service support.
