JOB PURPOSE:

AVP Lead - Recovery is responsible for managing Collection & recovery of delinquent accounts for Credit Cards in line with FAB polices by supervising the team assigned.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Results Orientation

The drive to achieve results and take action to go beyond stated goals and expectations. It involves taking on challenges to produce outstanding results, actively look for opportunities to maximize collection managing in house Team as well as through Agency staff keeping best work practices more efficient and effective.

Creating & implementing a strategy to improve the collection.

Customer Orientation

The ability to negotiate with customers, understand their current and future needs and respond with relevant and creative solutions. Make FAB the preferred partner for customers and provide best solutions keeping the best interest of the Bank. Handle complaints within TAT.

Teamwork and Cooperation

The ability to work in teams and place team goals above individual interests. Facilitating sharing of ideas, information, and responsibilities. Supporting and leading the team towards achieving a common goal, in line with FAB\'s business objectives

Employees

Ensure team operates within the requirements of FAB policy & procedures.

Ensure appropriate staffing levels and skills mix within collection department.

Ensure succession plans are in place.

Ensure employee training and development plans are sufficient to meet the demands of the business and employee aspirations.

Active participation in completion of HR related activities such as team\'s performance management, leave planning and learning and development.

Develop team members proficiency in technical skills, new concepts and systems\' knowledge through delegation of more complex assignments and sharing of knowledge. Ensure team\'s active involvement in new initiatives and processes, assisting employees to get a more comprehensive view of the team\'s responsibilities.

Portfolio Management:

Deliver on collection analytics as practice and capability -work with large structured and transactional data to build a robust collection analytics framework across products and across collection life cycle.

Develop well-defined strategies for collection of delinquent Cards - segmentation prioritization and effective channel strategy Forecasting simulations building strategies to improve business performance.

Analyzing historical data and provide suitable framework to guide collection team - Analyse Data to identify emerging customer trends - strengthen relationship with existing analytics partners to continue to leverage capabilities identifying areas of weakness recommending solutions and supporting the collection team to achieve targets.

Job Context

Manage Team & develop collection strategies to minimize portfolio loss.

Provides operational /Service leadership and direction to team. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge through provision of value-added perspectives of advisory services. Contribute to the development of new techniques, models and plans within areas of expertise.

Maintain daily collection MIS, update to higher management as required , Evaluates subordinate\'s performance

Persuade and influences others through effective communication and diplomacy skills, negotiate with customers and external parties

Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm\'s reputation and safeguarding FAB, its clients and assets , by driving compliance with applicable laws , rules and regulations , adhering to policy, applying sound ethical judgement regarding personal behaviour , conduct and business practices , escalating , managing and reporting control issues with transparency . as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification
  • Bachelor\'s degree in business administration or related discipline.
Minimum Experience
  • Minimum 3 years\' experience with at least 1 years in similar position.
