The role holder is responsible for providing support to PPM team or relevant Credit Heads of IB / CCB in the areas of policy implementation and ongoing review of policy compliance and portfolio review. The role holder\'s primary responsibilities include:
  • Analytics - the role holder analyses the performance of the portfolio and provides vital insights which can serve to highlight key developing risks or also highlight flagging business performance from a risk-reward point of view
  • Data collation on a monthly basis covering the entire Group Credit (including International) or respective Coverage segment data from different sources
  • Preparation of detailed monthly dashboards and variance analysis reports by Credit / Coverage segments/products, etc. and provide relevant data to various stakeholders on timely basis for Quarterly Portfolio Review (QPR) exercise including presentation
  • Project management - the role holder is responsible for project management and change management, to deliver successful outcomes by coordinating with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities

Portfolio Analytics
  • Own the Quarterly Portfolio Review process for the IB / CCB segment
  • Provide support in portfolio analytics in line with guidance from Line Manager or Head of PPM for IB / CCB. Own and carry out detailed analytics & modelling (where applicable), presentation and build insights from the MIS
  • Carry out comprehensive review of the IB / CIB portfolio by segments, sectors, units, geographies, industry, and by accounts
  • Prepare regular reports for the IB / CCB portfolio (by Credit / Coverage segments, units, etc.) that are shared with the GCCO, and Heads of Credit for IB / CCB on an ongoing basis
  • Ensure that there are no policy deviations across the CIB segment, and enable effective control of portfolio across key risk characteristics
  • Monitor, review and control risk profiles (e.g. risk concentration, RWA, RAROC, etc.) to ensure that portfolio shape is in line with strategy
  • Monitor utilization, share of wallet, SOTL, of the facilities across customer segments. Develop utilization monitoring reports that are shared with Credit and Business to drive utilization as well as monitoring accounts from a credit risk perspective
  • Provide oversight and optimise the early problem management/watch list processes with the relevant stakeholders
  • Ensure material risk exposures and related issues are reported to the responsible governance committees and to Group Credit and business level committees as appropriate
  • Data Governance in highlighting the discrepancy in underline data, advising system correction to minimize error in the portfolio reporting and automate the monthly dashboard
  • Assist and coordinate with provision management team in advising the changes highlighted by credit stakeholders from segmentation and account grade change perspective etc.
  • Coordinate with Credit Heads or RCO for any improvement in the portfolio reporting and data quality
  • Credit Vault Management of monitoring the updates and ensuring accuracy of reporting
  • Support in regulatory reporting requirement as per the guidance from Line Manager and Head of PPM
Reporting, MIS
  • Work with IT and internal stakeholders to automate management reports and dashboards to support decision making at every level (e.g. QPR, Credit Vault Portal)
  • Analyse reports related to business / coverage unit performance and dashboards in order to ensure comprehensiveness, accuracy and compliance to policies and standards
  • Data assessment and management support to Line Manager or Head of PPM for IB / CCB
  • Coordination with International team in reconciling the data alignment for portfolio reporting
Project Management
  • Drive implementation of special projects and coordinate cross-BU projects
  • Supports the design and prioritization of projects and initiatives for the CIB segment within Credit
  • Support the development & implementation of key Credit applications like CAPS, Credit Lens, UMR, and maximize usage of the applications/reports across the Credit organization
  • Support the development of the OBIEE reporting platform for the respective Lines of Business, and ensure proper scorecards/dashboards are built for decision making, and performance management across all CIB teams
Business Planning, Integration, Data Migration
  • Support GCCO, HoPPM, and IB / CCB Credit Heads in the planning, implementation, and delivery of strategic objectives
  • Support in execution of integration requirements (from Group Credit Whitebook) and coordinating with various stakeholders
  • Responsible for reviewing and carrying out UAT of target systems, as well as review the data migration from legacy systems to target stack
Other Responsibilities include:
  • Monitor and report Balanced Scorecard, and Audit points for IB / CCB segment
  • Monitor business processes, and credit policies
  • Planning and collating data and information for enablement functions
  • Monitoring and reporting SLAs established with Support and Control functions
  • Testing Business Continuity programs
  • Driving key strategic technology enablement within Credit (e.g. Credit Vault Portal, portfolio reporting, etc.)
  • Hind-sighting of any account related policy compliance as per guidance from Line Manager or Head of PPM
Qualifications

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, Statistics or related discipline
  • Adequate knowledge of financial services business, particularly in Credit and Risk management
  • Strong project and change management skills
  • Strong financial and analytical skills with adequate knowledge of corporate and investment banking
  • Knowledge of advanced excel and power-point skills is a strong plus
Years & Nature of Experience
  • 10+(Senior)/ 5+(Junior) years of experience in portfolio management, analytics and project management
