Generic Accountability

• Mange the portfolio quality with Robust underwriting standards
• Mange the SLA with Cross functional Teams
• Mange the team high professional standards.
• Mange the NPLS below 1% on the new Bookings
• Support BB- Credit head in enhancing operational efficiency
• Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
• Demonstrate compliance to organization\'s values and ethics at all times to support the establishment of a value drive culture within the bank.
• Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes and practices considering global standards, productivity improvement and cost reduction.

Job Specific Accountabilities

• Review and approve Credit proposals within Delegated Authority with SWOT Analysis covering all significant factors (Strengths & Risks) and recommendation by Credit Analysts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure accurate review, approval or recommendation of Business banking proposals in line with the Lending Discretionary Limit within timely manner.
• Review Analysis of proposals by strictly adhering to:

Basic principles of lending

Bank\'s procedures & Policies including adherence to Compliance requirements

UAE Central Bank Rules

Regulations wherever applicable to assess quality and proper asset selection.

• Perform a detailed review of documentation & customer\'s records and assess the viability of the Emerging Corporates Banking requests through detailed credit visits to customer premises if required and make appropriate recommendations based on the conclusions drawn during the visits.
• Conducts proper due diligence as to identification of gaps, if any in terms of disclosures/ information in proposals
• Recommend ways to continuously improve the process & increase efficiency while reducing the turn-around-time.
• Addresses and verify issues or points raised at the review stage
• Ensure MIS (management information system) reports are prepared for emerging corporates banking credit department and submit the same in a timely manner on a weekly basis

Job Specific Accountability

• Review of irregularities (i.e. imperfections/incorrect) on proposals and follow-up as appropriate with the emerging corporates banking sourcing channels.
• Ensure effective communication on credit proposals to business channels, branch managers, segment heads, and other units & unit heads.
• Carry out other strategic assignments given by the head of business banking credit

Qualifications

Qualification

• CA/CFA/MBA in a Finance discipline

Experience

• 8 years in credit underwriting function.

• At last 5 years of team management experience in handling similar segments

Additional Information

Mange the TWC underwriting function of 150 accounts ( 150 million ) + 400 million new business under projection

To manage Business Banking Credit Underwriting, Manage Credit Facilities, evaluate and assess the credit risk involved in all aspects of the Business Banking Lending Guidelines and make proper recommendations within timely manner keeping in view of agreed set risk guidelines.

Provide a precise approval on Business Banking Credit Proposals within the Discretionary Lending Limit in accordance to the existing/current credit parameters in a timely manner.
