Job Description
A Sharjah-based local bank is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Vice President for their Internal Audit division. Due to UAE\'s nationalisation initiative, this role is strictly for a UAE National with Family Book.
About the AVP, Internal Audit (UAE National only) role:
Reporting to the Head of Internal Audit, you will be responsible for delivering efficient Operations and Credit Audit for the bank.

Reporting to the Head of Internal Audit, you will be responsible for delivering efficient Operations and Credit Audit for the bank.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure audit engagements are executed systematically
- Identify various risk issues such as counter-party, market, liquidity and operational risk
- Prepare comprehensive audit plans and prioritise audit assignments based on risk assessment
- Review and maintain compliance with the Bank\'s policies and procedures
- Bachelor\'s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
- Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CMA, CFA, FRM, CIA are an advantage
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Internal Audit, in particular credit audit
- Experience managing teams
- Excellent communication skills
