Strategic Contribution

Ensure effective cascading of the functional strategy into department business plans to ensure vertical alignment and horizontal integration with other interfacing departmental strategies

Administer, and implement the business development strategies and tactics for the bank

Oversee and implement full sales cycle, including market research, needs analysis, pitch, closing, renewal and upsell

Maintain relationships with clients to ensure project success

Pitch capabilities and communicate unique selling proposition based on prospect needs and bank solutions.

Create and customize Employee banking presentations and other sales materials

Establish and achieve sales goals, metrics, and milestones. Track and report on progress and success

Provide specific banking expertise and relevant experience into the product and services portfolio and Strategic planning process as needed

Capture prospect and market needs and trends and consult with executive leadership and internal teams for solution development

MIS packs for Businesses - Prepare and Review the Monthly reporting packs to support the various business teams with Financial and Non-financial metrics

Ensure periodic review to keep information relevant and insightful

Conduct Business sales support review

Product cross-sell reporting by product for segments and highlighting cross-sell opportunity among products

Budgeting and Forecasting - Plan, initiate and consolidate the yearly budgeting process

Coordinate with business teams to review and finalise the inputs and communicate targets

Quarterly Reporting and Benchmarking- Facilitate and review the quarterly reporting requirements such as performance and Competition Benchmarking analysis

Prepare and Review Daily/Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly management reports, including but not limited to Business MIS, Channel MIS, Cross Sell MIS, Product performance, Financial Reporting

Early view reports supported by analytics on performance KPIs

Provide periodical deep dives on business performance and updates on key growth initiatives including monthly update of performance scorecards for business

Anti-attrition TML to prevent customer attrition pro-actively

Responsible to create departments standard operating procedures (SOP) in line with PBG\'s business development strategies

For any amendments or revision to SOP, AVP is responsible to seek approvals from internal stakeholders

To maintain strict control standards for the agreed processes and keep a log for constant reviews (internal or external)

Ensure full adherence to the audit requirements constantly improve identified gaps

Follow HR policies to ensure smooth function of the department. HR policies pertaining to performance improvement plan to be followed as consultative measures with timely update on progress.

Ensure that all team members adhere to the Standard Operating Procedures, Policies and Code of Conduct of the bank and initiate appropriate disciplinary action for any violations noted.

Job Requirements

Sound knowledge of financial analysis, planning, accounting, reporting and performance management with high degree of analytical skills to transform data into meaningful and insightful information

Able to work under pressure and within short / challenging deadlines

Good interpersonal skills to independently handle internal/external stakeholders and contribute towards developing the MIS/Analytical support expected

Design, implement, communicate and execute plans to grow region business with a team of EB RM\'s.

Constantly design and execute strategies to increasing business penetration within the region.

Liaise with Corporate & Investment banking, business banking team to provide their clients with a complete package on retail banking proposition.

Work with Product team to design customized offering for top clients under the region.

Manage a team of Relationship Managers with a focus on driving multi product sales through strategic alliances within PBG sales and distribution with their mapped portfolio

Drive multi product sales with a focused approach on increasing corporate profitability

Liaise with digital team to simplify and enhance Employee Banking proposition.

Complying with bank\'s regulatory requirements while ensuring business achievements are met.

Introduce and drive bundled solutions that deepen relationships and address client needs by improving levels of capability and productivity as well as process efficiency.

Support sales channel in on-boarding new entities on Target Market List to increase business penetration.

Effective Marketing plans to promote FAB Retail multiproduct through activities like Inductions, Helpdesks, EDM\'s, Financial Wellness sessions & strategic partnership opportunities.

Monitor emerging opportunities in Market, Industry and Competition and share information with the Business Intelligence team to keep plans/ strategies agile and improvise in a changing landscape.

Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Credit team to design customized, and competitive proposition for the targeted CIBG/ TML customers

Qualifications

Bachelor Degree, Preferably a Master\'s Degree

5 years\' relevant experience in the banking sector
