Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Audio-Visual (AV) Technician to join our team. As an AV Technician, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining audio-visual equipment for events, conferences, and other business functions. The ideal candidate will have experience working with various AV systems and a strong understanding of technical troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up, operate, and troubleshoot AV equipment for meetings, events, and presentations (e.g., projectors, sound systems, microphones, lighting, etc.). Collaborate with event coordinators and other staff to ensure technical requirements are met. Perform routine maintenance and testing of AV equipment. Provide on-site technical support during events to ensure smooth operation. Troubleshoot any technical issues during events and provide solutions in real-time. Maintain and inventory AV equipment and ensure proper storage and handling. Train and assist staff or clients in the use of AV systems as needed.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as an AV Technician or similar role, with a strong understanding of AV equipment and systems. Hands-on experience with AV software and hardware (e.g., audio mixers, video conferencing systems, PA systems). Strong technical troubleshooting skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and occasional travel for events as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with live streaming and video recording equipment. Knowledge of lighting and projection systems. Familiarity with event production and live sound mixing.
