Job Purpose:

The AV Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing audio-visual systems and equipment across client facilities. The role ensures optimal performance of AV systems used for meetings, events, and daily operations in line with Operon Middle East's service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, test, and maintain AV equipment including projectors, microphones, speakers, video conferencing systems, and digital signage. Perform regular preventive maintenance and inspections of AV systems to ensure functionality and performance. Provide on-site technical support during meetings, events, and presentations. Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to sound, video, and display systems. Coordinate with IT and maintenance teams to ensure seamless integration of AV systems. Maintain inventory of AV equipment and spare parts; raise requisitions for required items. Ensure cables, connectors, and hardware are organized, labeled, and safely managed. Document maintenance and repair logs, configuration settings, and system updates. Stay updated on new AV technologies and suggest upgrades where applicable. Adhere to safety and quality standards while performing installations or repairs. Respond promptly to service requests and emergencies related to AV systems.

Requirements:

Diploma in Electronics, Sound Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 2-3 years of relevant AV experience, preferably in facilities management or hospitality. Hands-on experience with AV brands such as Crestron, Extron, Bose, JBL, and Polycom. Knowledge of video conferencing systems (Zoom, MS Teams, Cisco Webex, etc.). Basic knowledge of networking for AV system integration. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure. Good communication skills in English. Willingness to work in shifts and respond to urgent service calls.

Preferred Skills:

Certifications in AV systems or audio engineering. Experience in client-facing roles or multi-site facilities. Ability to read technical drawings and wiring schematics.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
