AV Technician

We are looking for an experienced AV technician to set up and operate media equipment for live events. As an AV technician, you will be responsible for organizing and installing media equipment such as projectors, microphones, video monitors, and sound boards. You may also be required to alter the venue layout to enhance acoustics. To ensure success as an AV technician, you should have advanced knowledge of audio and video equipment, experience with lighting and filming techniques, and excellent troubleshooting skills. Ultimately, a top-notch AV technician should be able to create superb audio and visual effects to enhance any live experience.

What you will be doing:

• You\xe2\x80\x99ll be making sure that all the equipment in the building functions all the time and, if it doesn\xe2\x80\x99t, that it\xe2\x80\x99s quickly put right
• You\xe2\x80\x99ll coordinate the servicing and maintenance of all technical devices, and check that all the lights are working during the hotel inspection tour
• You\xe2\x80\x99ll be working in collaboration with the specialist health and safety staff, you\xe2\x80\x99ll ensure that our staff have a safe place to work
• You\xe2\x80\x99ll inspect and perform preventative maintenance on property\xe2\x80\x99s facilities and equipment
• You\xe2\x80\x99ll inspect all areas of the property for safety issues and take immediate corrective action
• You\xe2\x80\x99ll repair, maintain and install work according to departmental procedures
• You\xe2\x80\x99ll ensure the maintenance of control panels
• You\xe2\x80\x99ll trouble shoot control circuits
• You\xe2\x80\x99ll be able to install wiring, conducting / trunking, wiring accessories
• You\xe2\x80\x99ll ensure the maintenance of Chillers, Freezers, split units, AHU, fan coils, cold rooms

• You\xe2\x80\x99ve completed a course of technical training and gained your first professional experience
• You can work on your own initiative, and are interested in the field of gas and water installations
