25hours Hotel One Central, part of the Ennismore and Accor family, is seeking a skilled and service-driven AV Technician to join its dynamic events and operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, maintaining, and operating all audio-visual equipment to ensure flawless execution of meetings, conferences, and special events within the hotel's vibrant and creative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate audio-visual equipment including microphones, speakers, projectors, screens, and lighting systems for hotel events.
• Provide real-time technical support during functions, troubleshooting sound, video, or lighting issues efficiently.
• Operate sound mixing consoles to deliver high-quality, balanced audio during live events.
• Manage video setups, including cameras, monitors, and projectors, for presentations and live streams.
• Collaborate closely with event planners and organizers to understand AV requirements and deliver customized solutions.
• Maintain, test, and inventory all AV equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.
• Coordinate with external vendors for equipment servicing or upgrades as needed.
• Adhere to hotel safety procedures and AV operation standards.
• Deliver outstanding customer service to guests and event clients, ensuring smooth and professional event experiences.

Ideal Profile

• Diploma or certification in Audio Engineering, Sound Technology, or related field preferred.
• Previous experience as an AV Technician, Sound Engineer, or similar role in a hotel or event venue.
• Proficient in the use of mixing consoles, amplifiers, microphones, and video display systems.
• Familiarity with conferencing and streaming platforms such as Zoom, Teams, and YouTube Live.
• Strong problem-solving, organization, and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules.
• Attention to detail with a proactive and guest-focused approach.
