We are looking for a highly skilled AV Engineer with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in audio-visual systems, specifically in command center environments. The ideal candidate must have in-depth knowledge of DigiBird video wall controllers and VITEC IPTV solutions, with strong technical capabilities in AV and low voltage systems, both hardware and software.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, configure, install, and maintain AV systems for command centers, meeting rooms, and control environments.
Expertly operate and troubleshoot DigiBird video wall controllers.
Set up, integrate, and manage VITEC IPTV systems including streaming, encoding, and distribution.
Provide technical support for AV hardware/software, including matrix switchers, scalers, encoders, decoders, and audio DSPs.
Collaborate with IT and low-voltage teams to ensure seamless AV-LV system integration.
Read and interpret AV system drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Lead on-site installations, testing, commissioning, and client training.
Maintain documentation of configurations, procedures, and system manuals.
Perform regular preventive maintenance and respond to emergency service requests.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in AV engineering, preferably in mission-critical or command center setups.
Strong knowledge of DigiBird controllers (setup, configuration, troubleshooting).
Experience with VITEC IPTV systems (design, implementation, support).
Technical background in low voltage systems, networking, and AV software/hardware integration.
Familiarity with AV protocols (HDMI, HDBaseT, Dante, IP-based AV).
Certifications such as CTS, CTS-I, or manufacturer-specific credentials (e.g., DigiBird, Vitec, Crestron, Extron) are a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
Good communication skills for client interaction and reporting.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
Flexible with working hours, including occasional after-hours or weekend support during installations or critical project phases.
Has worked in high-security, government, or enterprise-grade AV environments.
