Key Responsibilities:1. Customer Interaction & Service Coordination
Greet customers, understand their vehicle concerns, and document service requests.
Provide
accurate cost and time estimates
for repairs/maintenance.
Explain technical issues in simple terms and recommend necessary services.
Follow up with customers on repair status and approvals.
2. Workshop & Technician Coordination
Assign jobs to technicians based on skill level and workload.
Ensure
correct diagnosis
of vehicle problems before repairs begin.
Monitor repair progress and update customers on delays or additional work needed.
3. Documentation & Administrative Tasks
Prepare
Proforma invoices
, work orders, and service records.
Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and warranty claims.
Ensure compliance with company and manufacturer service procedures.
4. Parts & Inventory Management
Coordinate with the
Parts Purchaser
to ensure timely availability of required components.
Verify parts received match repair orders and update the system accordingly.
5. Quality Control & Follow-Up
Conduct final checks with customers before vehicle delivery.
Address post-service concerns and ensure customer satisfaction.
Assist in resolving complaints and warranty-related issues.
6. Sales & Upselling
Recommend additional maintenance/services (e.g., fluid changes, tire rotations).
Promote service packages, loyalty programs, and special offers.
